Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET)

The WSET provides and develops high quality education and sought after qualifications in wines and spirits for those in the trade as well as for the interested consumer. The body is recognised world wide for its high level of consistent education.

WSET Level one- Foundation Certificate in Wines
This qualification aims to provide basic product knowledge and skills in the service and retail of wine. It is a good introduction for the wine enthusiast who wishes to be introduced to wine in a structured way. Wine styles, storing, and serving of wine, plus food and wine matching will be covered.

WSET Level two- Intermediate Certificate in Wines and Spirits
This course is appropriate for those who may or may not be employed in the industry but have a serious interest in wine and wish to broaden their knowledge in a structured way.

Certified to teach and provide examinations for the foundation and intermediate levels of the WSET, Sandy can assist you in finding out which course is best suited to you.
